"A Samaritan traveller who came upon
him was moved with compassion when he saw him."
Luke 10 : 33

Actual window
The window depicts a man who went from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves who stripped him of his raiment, leaving him half dead. The Samaritan in the window has clothed the injured man with a blanket and is shown giving him some water. In the background are two figures, a Priest and a Levite, who passed by without helping the injured man.
