Pendle Stained Glass follows the methods of traditional stained glass in terms of design, full size drawings, glass painting, kiln firing, glazing and installation. We are also able to work in a more contemporary fashion, introducing new techniques such as acid etching, screen printing and sandblasting. The philosophy of the company is a firm belief in the principles of good artistic craftmanship. Be it new work, restoration or conservation, we endeavour to uphold the traditions of the craft through the sharing of information with others.

We currently employ 15 people, including a designer, leaded light makers, fitters and support staff. Clients include architects, local authorities, County Councils, various Church Dioceses, and other private commissions. Ongoing links are made with educational institutions to help promote an interest in the subject. Several interesting projects have been undertaken with school children and can be found on this website.
