Description: This project involved the relocation of Historic glass from St Wilfrid’s, Cotton to St Peter’s, Bromsgrove. To the head of each of the main lights is a decorative roundel on a golden cross. The subject matter in each of these new roundels commemorates the journey of the windows from St Wilfrid’s to their new home. Numbered from left to right: 1.Light one – The three golden stars on a blue background that form the heraldic shield for St Wilfrid, the original location of the windows. 2. Light two – The bishop’s crozier of St Wilfrid set in a Staffordshire knot, references the location of his named church in Cotton, Staffordshire. 3. Light three – Fisherman’s nets with a leaping fish symbolize St Peter’s, the windows’ new home. 4.Light four – A heraldic pattern of three black Worcester pears, to represent the location of St Peter’s in Worcestershire.
