Title: "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof..."
Date: 2004
Design by: Roy W. Coomber
Size of each light: 500mm wide x 1500mm + tracery.
Description: A modern, figurative design which illustrates the changing nature of the Wirral in the 20th century.
At the very top of the tracery the cross of Christ. Below symbols of St John the Evangelist (eagle) and the Holy Spirit (Dove).
Top left St. John's Church and features of the locality e.g. the river Mersey and the oil refinery at Ellesmere Port.
The right hand light suggests a past community with a horse and cart representing agriculture. Children are playing Victorian style games set against the Welsh hills and the River Dee. Beneath these are daffodils and bluebells, all of which can be found in the locality.
The window was donated by the Beardwood family.
