Description:
1/ Father and Creator -" I am the Bright and Morning Star" - Revelations 22:16. Below the star, the bible with Alpha & Omega. "I am the Alpha & Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End". A partly eaten apple and the serpent are symbols from the Garden of Eden.
2/ The Last Supper - symbols include grapes and wheat. In the centre a Cross surrounded by a Crown of Thorns, reminding us of Christ's Passion. The Eucharist - Jesus took some bread and when he had given thanks, broke it and gave it to them, saying "This is my body which will be given for you; do this in memorial of me". He did the same with the cup after supper, and said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood which will be poured out for you"' Luke 22:19
3/ Baptism with Pentecost - symbolised by the Dove of the Holy Spirit and the Tongues of Fire. Luke 3:16 "Jesus will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire". Acts 2:3 "and something appeared to them that seemed like tongues of fire, and it sat upon each of them". The blue streaks refer to the waters of the Baptism and a group of people, the Disciples.
